MURALS & PUBLIC ART

Rebecca Tapscott began creating murals  back in 2000, focusing on environmental awareness and community culture.  Each new mural has a more defined focus on biodiversity and how we can live together in harmony.  Today her practice has collaborated with schools, Indigenous and community groups that cover a diversity spectrum of our society.

Rebecca Tapscott is the founder and creative director of Power Pole Project; Outside/In. In conjunction with the Kyogle Council, Kyogle Chamber of Commerce, Local Schools, Indigenous and Community are painted with imagery of the animals found throughout the LGA are linked to habitat.
